Penzance u3a has a wide variety of groups for a small town and the number continues to grow - we currently have over 30 groups operating.

For enquiries or if you wish to join a group, please contact the group facilitator by clicking on the facilitator link on the relevant group's page.

More information is also available on the individual group pages.

To join a group you must be a current member of the Penzance u3a, and joining a group is subject to availability.

Currently some groups are full, so if you are considering joining Penzance u3a and to avoid disappointment, please contact the group facilitator (via the relevant group's page link) before joining, to check that your choice of group/s has available spaces. Current members should also check first with the group facilitator on the group status before applying to join a group.

Please note: We are always looking for members who would like to start a new group. Details of ideas for new groups can be found on the New Groups site page.

You don't have to be an expert to facilitate a group. Find out who is interested in the same subject; become a facilitator and then encourage the other members to take part and contribute - u3a is about sharing and learning. Please get in touch with the Groups Co-ordinator to discuss your ideas and for help and encouragement to take those forward!

If you can't see a group that interests you here, the National Office runs ‘Interest Groups Online', which covers a variety of different subjects accessed online. Note that the cost of membership to this is in addition to any other u3a membership cost.
