Penzance u3a started in 2017 and we now have around 300 members from Penzance, Newlyn and the surrounding areas.

Potential new members are welcome to attend our monthly Socials, where you can get information about the groups on offer and talk to existing members.

Our monthly Socials usually take place on the third Monday of the month at the Queens Hotel, The Promenade, Penzance; except in August when we take a summer break. We feature a range of speakers who give talks on various subjects.

The doors open at 2:00pm, and the meeting starts at 2.30 pm; with refreshments served after the talk, providing an opportunity to socialise with other members. A small entrance fee is charged to cover the room hire and refreshments.
